  • As cash has accumulated on corporate balance sheets over the past few years, companies have found themselves in a much better position to begin spending on growth projects, as well as returning cash to shareholders in the form of dividends.
  • While dividend payout ratios remain low, they are likely to begin rising as business confidence improves, which should result in higher dividend yields.
